  1.     I have played a couple of MicroProse games, Civilization and
  2. Darklands....Civilization could have had a few minor
  3. improvments..but..no offense but... Darklands really needs help. The
  4. idea for the game is good but it is not very user friendly.. one of my
  5. friends and I said "What the hell??????" all to often during the short
  6. time we played and finally said forget it when the game ended in error.
  7. The main problems were that when we installed the game it didn't like
  8. the SoundBlaster and kept locking the computer so we had to settle for
  9. PC speaker sound, and after our first battle when I hit Use door the
  10. game ended in error. As I said above the game leaves something to be
  11. desired when it comes to being user friendly. No offense but if
  12. Darklands and Civilization are your best games I would be highly
  13. unlikely to purchase anything by MicroProse in the future. I am
  14. currently a computer science major I would like to work for a games
  15. company. I have played alot of games from alot of companies, I feel that
  16. I have quite a good idea of what makes a game 'the best'. My programming
  17. skills are not superior, but my ideas are (not to seem arrogant or
  18. anything). If you have any employment openings in a department such as
  19. ideas/creative design or something along those lines I think your
  20. company would benefit from my ideas. If MicroProse is interested please
